That terrible September 11
That terrible event in 2001 that shocked the world: the attack on the Twin Towers and other organs of the US administration. I highlighted three figures in the context of the painting, Jesus talking to an Arab and the Madonna who follows them, stricken with pain. In the background a Manhattan petrified by horror.
