Wild swans at Coole
The Whooper Swans at Coole is a tribute to the poet Yeats who described swans in one of his poems. In my painting the swans are quite surreal, it is not an objective vision but a fantastic one as all you can see of the swan is the white plumage which could also be other things: blades, plumes, snakes of white feathers.
